The folks at WeatherTech have been around since the late 1980s, and it looks like they’re here to stay thanks to its awesome products available for truck enthusiasts today. We had the pleasure of speaking with the folks there about its latest offerings for the big three, and they did not disappoint.
“The Tech-liner is the only digital-fit bed-liner on the market,” Rick Hermann of WeatherTech told us. “It’s unique in the fact that it comes rolled up in a box which is six-inches by six-inches, so it’ll ship easily. Once you roll it out, it simply Velcro’s onto the back of the truck. Again, it’ll match every nook and cranny to the vehicle.”
“It’s available in black–and like our aligners, it has a natural non-skid to it–you won’t see things sliding around,” Hermann continued. “This component installs into the bed (up to three inches), and it’s available in two separate pieces. The way its held into place is simply by velcro discs which simply tape on to the bed of the truck – allowing them to be easily removed if it gets dirty.”
Hermann said that this bed-line is really more designed for the street truck enthusiast, as most enthusiasts will be using this component in a light-duty situation versus a heavy-duty use.
“This is truly the only 100-percent digitally fit to the bed of the truck,” Hermann explained. “The proprietary rubber creates fiction which will stick to carpet, metal, wood, and even our own tech-liner. With its internal shelf, the more weight you add onto it, the grippier the actual base gets–it changes it from being grippy to super-grippy.”
