SEMA 2017: Going Higher With Maxtrac’s 2017 Ford Super Duty Lift Kit

[1]

A huge amount of people with Ford F-250 and F-350s lift their truck for increased ground clearance and a better look. The problem with most lift kits is that they negatively impact the already not so good ride quality of the truck. A lot of this has to do with spring rates, shock tuning, and the angle of the suspension arms.

MaxTrac [2] has developed a pretty good solution to this harsh riding problem. Their kit utilizes forged aluminum links which use a four-link design as opposed to the factory radius arm design. MaxTrac was able to accomplish this through a set of drop-down brackets. The engineers also chose linear spring rate springs with optional Fox shocks for an excellent ride, which MaxTrac claims are actually better than stock.

“All the sway bar brackets, track bracket, and drop down bracket are included for a nice clean bolt-on application,” JJ Simpson explained. “We have a great quality coil that provides an above factory quality ride. It is overbuilt so you won’t get the settling of normal aftermarket coils. It’s a really simple bolt-on installation. In the rear, we round everything off with new lift blocks, new shocks, and new U-bolts.”

If you’re sick of really harsh lift kits, then this kit from MaxTrac is for you. It’s built well, rides great, and makes your F-250 or F-350 look way cooler than stock. This lift is available in both a four-inch size and six-inch size as well.
