B&W Trailer Hitches Introduces ’13-14 RAM Gooseneck Hitch.

When it comes to hooking up a trailer and going somewhere, whether it is for work or pleasure, the last thing you want is a headache or hassle getting the trailer hooked. Having high quality parts that work as they are designed can ensure that hooking up a trailer, is just a matter of backing up, setting the receiver on the ball (or 5th wheel hitch), and connecting the wiring.

B&W Trailer Hitches has been in business in the United States of America since 1987. Their initial focus was producing top quality beds but shortly after, (in 1988) they started producing trailer hitches (Initially the gooseneck hitch). Since that time, they have stayed true to their high quality standards and desire to manufacture only in the USA.

Recently B&W Trailer Hitches introduced their new 2013 and 2014 RAM Turnoverball system. These are completely redesigned from the previous generations. RAM has started making factory preperations for gooseneck receivers. B&W has taken full advantage of the factory cross member. Their new system is not lighter, and smaller than previous generations.

In addition to the smaller and lighter, the new hitch uses a slightly smaller hole (3.5” down from 4”). While the Turnoverball system still works the same, the smaller hole does mean even less intrusion into the bed (not that there was much before). Check out the video above to see how simple the installation is.

Another really cool feature about the Turnoverball system is their Companion 5th Wheel Hitch. No additional mounting equipment is needed. The Companion hitch slides right into your gooseneck receiver, lays on the bed floor and can support up to 20,000 lbs GTW and 5,000 lbs VTW.

According to their site; the Companion 5th Wheel Hitch was designed to address the issue of sloppiness in hitches. The result is a quiet, cushioned ride that is free of jerking. And it’s removable. Free up your truck bed when you are not towing. The Companion utilizes the B&W Turnoverball under-bed mounting system.

If you are looking for the ultimate towing solution, make sure you start with B&W Trailer Hitches!

The Companion is shown here with the previous generation goosneck hitch. The new style hitch will accept the Companion the same way.
