More flow into an engine typically equals more power, and the diesel wizards at aFe Power have a handle on how to get there. The 2008-’10 6.4L Ford Power Stroke engines are beasts from the factory, but the BladeRunner intercooler outlet tube from aFe Power steps things up a notch by improving performance and reducing exhaust gas temperatures thanks to its smooth-bore mandrel-bent construction. Check it out!
Official Release:
aFe Power announces the release of the BladeRunner intercooler outlet (cold-side) tube for the 2008-10 Ford Power Stroke with V8-6.4L turbodiesel engines, P/N 46-20078.
aFe Power’s intercooler tube is constructed of 3-inch mandrel bent powder-coated stainless steel tubing for maximum flow. Smooth transition bends decrease turbulence, increasing horsepower, torque and reduced exhaust gas temperatures. Installs on the Cold Side (Passenger-Side) to transfer cooled air smoothly to the motor. This intercooler tube lines up directly to factory mounting locations and comes complete with high-temp silicone couplings, hoses and premium stainless steel T-bolt clamps used to securely mount the tube. Two 1/8″ NPT ports are provided for user convenience, connecting parts such as temperature sensors or methane injection accessories.
Features:
- 3-inch mandrel-bent powdercoated stainless-steel tubing
- Smooth transition bends decrease turbulence and increase horsepower
- Lines up with factory mounting locations
