The eventful 2017 season of the Outlaw Diesel Super Series drag racing series has come to a close. This series has continued to make its legendary five stops including Julian, North Carolina and as far west as Bowling Green, Kentucky. Well, in 2018 they are adding another stop!

The new stop for all of us will be in sunny Holt, Florida. The newest home for the sixth race in this series will be the historic Emerald Coast Dragway which is under new ownership. Ryan Milliken, of Hardway Performance, is now manning the operation and is gung-ho for helping out the Outlaw Diesel crew that was in search of a new destination.

Seth Higgins, in the KingSpeed Race and Repair truck, will return in full force in the 2018 season.

Some unbelievable things have happened over the past year including the first four-second pass from a Powerstroke powerplant, thanks to Rawlings Barnes, of Rudy’s Diesel Performance as well as crazy points battles in every class. Lavon Miller, of Firepunk Diesel, as well as Dustin Jackson, are both nearing that four-second range. Is 2018 the year it’s going to happen?

Who will get that first four-second pass for the inline-six engines?
