Well, Truck Source Diesel (TSD) kicked off the year with their Throwdown #3 February 15th this year. So, it only makes sense that they would bring it to a close with another dyno event in December. So, mark your calendars now (December 20th) and start upgrading your trucks to lay down the big power.
We expect this event to draw just as many people as the February event and we are expecting to have just as many high horsepower trucks. Last year it was Randy Strey with his 06 Dodge that maxed out the dyno on torque (2000+) and laid down 1150 horsepower. Putting on a great show was one of the owners, Chris Buhidar in his 2000 F-350 powered by a 5.9l Cummins that laid down 1228 horsepower. Since then, they have added compounds and are sure to be able to top that number. Finally, William Ellington was just 3 horsepower shy of breaking into the 4 digit range with his 997 horsepower pull.
In addition to the three listed above, there was a number of 800+ horsepower pulls. TSD really knows how to organize the event where there isn’t much down time between trucks. So, it really is an action packed day.
If you aren’t all about the dyno pulls, there will be a show and shine area where there are usually a few really hot looking trucks. Then of course you have all the conversations and good times had by the crowd.
Bottom line, if you can make the event, you won’t be disappointed!
