We initially broke the news that Kevin Wiebe’s Straight To The Maxx pulling truck caught on fire back in June. Since then, quite a few companies have jumped on board to get one of the premier west coast pulling truck back up and running.
With a huge hand from BD Diesel Performance and Baillie Diesel, we are pleased to report that the truck is up and running!
“The past few months have been crazy for Straight To The Maxx as we rebuilt (it) from the ground up. Back in June when we lost the truck, we weren’t sure what was going to happen. After much talk with Brian Roth and BD Diesel we all agreed that the truck would be rebuilt. Many hours were put in by the crew at BD Diesel in order to have it ready for a reveal on September 20, 2014.
We also partnered with Baillie Diesel Motorsports out of Niza, Missouri to have a custom built motor. They spent many long hours getting the motor done and shipped in time. We are greatly appreciative of all the time spent on the truck and all the little extras that went into making the truck a dream come true. Another huge thank you goes (to) Cheyne Beukes for putting in many long hours during this entire rebuild. Also, a huge thank you to Jim and Amy Greenway of Baillie Diesel Motorsports for coming up this way to help install the engine.
“We want to say a huge thank you for the following sponsors: BD Diesel Performance, Baillie Diesel Motorsports, North County Lawn Care, Wiebe Construction, Primo Fabrications, Tim Hecker Landscape Supply, Edge Products, Outlaw Diesel Performance, Mertz Performance, Clavicle 3, Premier Engine Design, S&S Diesel Motorsports,” says the Wiebe family.
