As truck and tractor pulling season are coming to a conclusion for the 2014 race season, we like to keep you informed of upcoming events that are coming up. This way you can keep your “dance card” full as long as possible. Some of us think it would be great if pulling season never ended. But, we know that for the racers they need those few months of downtime to work on the rigs and prepare for the next season of events.

Anyways, the 7th annual Lindsay Truck and Tractor pull is coming up on October 4th in Gainesville. Nope, not Florida but Texas. Yep, Texas tries to have one of everything with a state as big as a country and apparently, they even have a Gainesville. Not to mention a Paris, Rhome, etc. This upcoming pull will benefit the Lindsay FFA and Lindsay Youth Groups so all the more reason (like you needed one) to come out and run or watch this upcoming event. This event is sanctioned by the TTTPA.

After the pull, there will be a live concert featuring Bois D’Arcs band. This band considers themselves to be an alt-country, roots rock, Americana or whatever the newest name for it may be, band. The sound is basic but very infectious according to their website.

Cost: Adults are $15, Children between the ages of 6-15 are $5 and those under the age of 5 are free! Parking is also free for this event.
