Video: Maxtrac Goes The Extra Mile For The Customer

When your truck goes from grocery getter to project vehicle, you know what the first order of business is. You’ve got to give it a lift kit. Our good friends over at Maxtrac Suspension have several options available for Ram, Ford, and GM models, and recently put together some videos that showcase the company’s raison d’etre.

The first video, “Why Buy Maxtrac,” is an excellent place to start. This video covers the company’s design philosophy and what drives it in the marketplace. Jeff Simpson, Maxtrac’s R&D/Operations Supervisor, explains it best: “We care about making our kits easy to install because we’ve been there. When you’re in the middle of an install and things go south, it’s very frustrating. R&Ding for us is about addressing the customers’ needs.”

This philosophy dovetails with the product that gets shipped to the customer – the kit is easy to install, the instructions are easy to understand, and the finished truck rides like factory and offers improved stance. This comes as a result of extensive testing. As General Manager Eric Jolly states, “We don’t stop the R&D process until we’ve fully tested that kit, and tested that kit, and tested that kit.”

The second video, “Maxtrac Lift Kits,” goes right into the meat and potatoes of installing such a kit. “Nobody wants to have their truck on stands for weeks,” says Simpson. “They want to get through the job in a weekend or as quickly as possible and get back to enjoying their truck.”

That ease of installation is a hallmark of Maxtrac’s kits, which are designed to be as bolt-on as possible. Maxtrac demonstrated this on a late-model Ram 3500 that we covered back in October. This kit touted Maxtrac’s forged aluminum radius arms, new springs and shocks, lift blocks, and other components, all of which came together on a lift kit that upgraded the style and capability of the truck, without sacrificing ride quality.

If you’re interested in a kit that will install perfectly and ride like factory once finished, Maxtrac is the place to go. Be sure to check out Maxtrac’s website for more information on their kits, and don’t forget to follow them on Facebook.
