Brand wars are always fun. We love seeing the trucks test power and performance. Most people have a strong preference or brand loyalty towards one of the big three. Whether your loyalty is the 6.6-liter Duramax, which has proven to be an extremely strong, durable, the powerhouse of the performance work the mighty Cummins, or the Power Stroke with the largest market share, odds are you feel pretty strong about one of these.

Recently, we came across the video above of three trucks playing tug a truck. Generally, Tug A Truck is between two trucks. They are hooked bumper to bumper and it is a contest to see who can drag the other truck across the pad.

What makes this video pretty cool is that there is one Ford 6.0 Power Stroke (with a 6.4 front clip) up against modified 1^st and 2^nd generation Dodge Rams. On paper this is a pretty lopsided competition and we don’t think anyone in the stands expected the outcome.

After a short period of time where the outcome was uncertain, the Ford 6.0-Liter Power Stroke powered dually took the upper hand and out pulled the combined 11.8-liters worth of Cummins power. It is obvious from the smoke coming off the first gen Dodge that it wasn’t like they weren’t trying. The Ford just dominated and pulled both trucks.

The 6.0-liter Power Stroke is the least respected generation of the Power Stroke due to the number of mechanical issues. So, we ask you, how mighty is the Cummins if a 6.0-liter Power Stroke can out pull two of them?
