Steinbauer Performance: Intelligent Engine Technology

Based out of Austria, Steinbauer Performance is one of the industry leaders in diesel performance. Whether it be Over The Road Trucks, Heavy Equipment, Agriculture Equipment, Motor Homes, Pickups and Passenger Cars, Steinbauer does it all. What we are highlighting is their newest box out for the late-model Ford F-Series pickup trucks.

Obviously, we are all after the same thing which is improved performance is a safe, but fun fashion. With the Steinbauer Performance box, you can achieve just that. What Steinbauer has developed is a plug and play option for the late-model Fords that will increase horsepower and torque by using fuel injection optimization. The factory settings for fuel injection duration are altered to increase the output. This also allows precise fuel control throughout the full rpm range of the engine.

Injection duration is achieved by adding pulse width to a signal, (i.e. at the end of injection). This is not changing the timing of the engine. Per Steinbauer Performance, that is best left to the factory engine control unit. The module, while altering the pulse width of the injection, does not, however, modify or interfere with the common rail pressure.

There are multiple options on the market that claim to increase horsepower and torque. Per Steinbauer, a lot of modules are simplistic technology that increases rail pressure, which can cause major engine failure. If you are looking for a quality product that has been tried, tested and sold worldwide, then Steinbauer is here to help.

Not only does the module offer great performance increases, it also comes with a 3-year warranty.

So, the benefit of the module on your pickup trucks is up to a 25 percent increase in horsepower and torque, giving you greater towing power and making working situations effortless and safer.
