VIDEO: Nate Newton’s Backyard-Built Nitrous-Fed Cummins RatRod Dodge

You’re never sure what you’re going to stumble on when surfing social media. But, lucky for us, we came across a message sent in from a fan of Diesel Army’s Facebook and attached was this video from Nate Newton. While we get a lot of messages, Newtons stood out just from the text before. “Check out our video and let us know what you think,” said Newton. “This build was done in 73 days and only two of us in a backyard.”

Isn’t it incredible what can be done with two friends, some tools, and a pile of determination? This old school body style Dodge chassis has been brought back to life as what we like to call a rat rod style build and has a more than healthy powerplant that looks to be a p-pumped 24-valve Cummins engine that uses compound turbos and a probably a hearty share of nitrous oxide.

Thank you to Mr. Newton for sharing this with us!

We are excited about you all sending in videos of your exquisite builds and we encourage it. For more information on the build, be sure and follow it on Newton’s social media pages. For more stories like this, stay tuned to DieselArmy.com!
