Wagler Street Fighter Duramax Offers Neck Snapping Torque

It’s pretty clear that when you’re looking to build a Duramax diesel engine or any engine for that matter, Wagler Competition Products is as top tier as it gets. Between their proven pulling engines, their beautiful DX series billet engine, and their up and coming CX series Cummins billet engines, they offer virtually anything you need.

The Wagler STREETFIGHTER Duramax specifically is the newest ready-to-rock powerplant coming out of the Odon, Indiana shop. The STREETFIGHTER Duramax was an engine configuration that was intentionally sent to its breaking point to find out where it is. The crew at Wagler put this engine combo through seventy-eight grueling test’s on the engine dyno and have taken testing to the next level by offering real-world performance tests at their private test track in Lyons, Indiana. With all of this testing, it allows Wagler Competition Products to offer a 12-month / 12,000-mile warranty.

STREETFIGHTER Crate Engine

So, what’s inside of this proven unit? Well, the engine is offered in different configurations including a balanced short block, full long block, and a drop-in STREETFIGHTER with turbocharger kit.

The short block comes with an LB7-LMM Wagler-prepped block with factory covers, Callies forged Compstar 6.6-liter Duramax crankshaft, ARP 2000 main studs, Wagler As-forged street connecting rods, Wagler de-lipped Mahle pistons, Wagler Stage 1 AF camshaft, GM crank gear, Wagler pinned oil pump, Fluidampr harmonic balancer, and a Suncoast billet flexplate. This kit comes in at $12,864.22 MSRP plus the core charge.

Priced at $18,165.12, the Wagler STREETFIGHTER Duramax long block comes with everything mentioned above along with ported GM cylinder heads and valve covers, ARP 2000 head studs, Wagler pushrods, and Wagler dual valve springs. With this kit, you have a ready to rock engine that only needs your fueling components and turbocharger mounted.

If you’re looking for a drop-in ready-to-rock engine, Wagler still has you covered. The full drop-in STREETFIGHTER engine features everything mentioned above as well as a turbocharger kit, fuel system, and billet water pump. Starting at $32,270.33 plus core charge, your engine will come with S & S Diesel Motorsport 100-percent over stock injectors, 12-mm CP3 pump, and a Precision Turbo 6870 ball bearing turbocharger.

With the drop-in kit, your engine will be capable of supplying you with 800-horsepower and 1,450-ft/lbs of torque to the crankshaft.

Complete Engine With Control Package

An additional option that Wagler offers is a control package. The control package includes an EZ LYNK Auto Agent 2.0, a CCI-calibrated (Critical Calibration, Inc.) LBZ Ecu, and wiring harness with throttle assembly. This would be the complete package that is the ideal upgrade for light-duty GM trucks and classic hot rods alike.

We can’t wait to see more testing from the guys over at Wagler Competition Products out of this STREETFIGHTER and the future engine combos they come out with.
