Wagler Motorsports Park: Lucas Oil PPL Pulls / Gas Vs. Diesel Drags

It’s that time of year again! The crew at Wagler Motorsports Park are going to put on one hell of a show with not just drag racing, but Lucas Oil Pro Pulling, too! After attending last year, we can assure you, this isn’t an event you will want to miss. Starting next Friday, July 5th and July 6th, come see your favorite trucks and tractors pull Friday night and your favorite diesel-powered monsters race on Saturday.

Friday, July 5th

Admission for the show is only $15 and kids under 12 are free. The gates open at 12:00 PM for you and your family to roam about the facility checking out all of the wild trucks and tractors there to compete. Between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM, you’re able to participate in the Test And Tune going on at the dragstrip. See what that truck of yours is capable of. But then, coming up at 7:00 PM, grab your favorite seat for the best sled pulling action this country as to offer.

If you’re a puller, maybe you fit into one of the Pro Pulling League classes? Classes include Super Modified 2WD Trucks, Limited Pro Diesel Trucks, Super Farm Tractors, Pro Stock Diesel Trucks, and Super Modified Tractors.

Saturday, July 6th

You’re rested up from a night of sled pulling but the action must go on. Gates will be wide open at 8:00 AM where everyone is getting set up for a day of fun. The Diesel Versus Gas event kicks off at 9:00 AM and includes plenty of classes you can get involved in. 7.70 Index, 6.70 Index, 5.90 Index, and the all-out Outlaw class. Once again, if you’re a spectator, the admission is still only $15 and kids 12 and under are free.

Be sure and check out the “Screwed Coupe” on race day as it gets piloted down the 660-feet of fun.

7.70 Index- $50 Entry Fee / $25 Buy Backs / $1,250 to win

6.70 Index- $50 Entry Fee / $25 Buy Backs / $1,400 to win

5.90 Index-$75 Entry Fee / $30 Buy Backs / $1,500 to win

Outlaw Class-$150 Entry Fee / $50 Buy Backs / $2,000 to win
