Unique Built ’14 RAM That Terrorizes The Greater South Dakota Area

For me, there are trucks all around. Highly modified, slightly modified, and just great looking stock trucks. For areas like Wyoming, Montana, and the Dakota’s, to me, there isn’t as much to look at. That may not be true but luckily for us, shops like Unique Diesel Performance pump out some pretty nasty stuff up that way. In fact, check out this 2014 RAM that they built for John Keffeler from Rapid City, South Dakota.

Being huge advocates for large single turbos, Unique obviously pushed customers in that direction as they have had tremendous luck with that tried and true combination. This ’14 6.7-Liter Cummins features a Forced Inductions S472/87/.90 turbo and a Fleece Performance 2nd Gen-Kit.

Like most turbo-upgraded trucks, Keffeler’s truck utilizes the heavy-duty ARP 625 head studs, a Fleece Performance grid heater delete kit, and a Glacier Diesel Performance intake horn. Other upgraded engine parts include Freedom Racing Engines 105-pound valve springs and Fleece Performance pushrods.

This whole build was inspired by one of Unique’s most popular builds we covered last year down in Florida. “After seeing how great the red truck that Unique did like this one, I had to have one of my own,” said Keffeler. “I am ecstatic on how this truck turned out. It looks great and it runs absolutely amazing. It has a ton of power.”

With a set of 60-percent over S&S Diesel Motorsport injectors and a Fleece Performance 10-MM CP3, this truck makes enough steam to keep that large single turbo singing through the streets. Backing all of this power is a SunCoast Performance Mega 68RFE transmission and it rides on a set of 24-inch by 12-inch American Force Genesis Concave wheels wrapped in 305/35/24 Nitto Terra Grapplers.

This was a pretty cool find from up in that area. Do you have a blue truck like this? Let us see them in the comments below. Stay tuned to Diesel Army for more build features like this! To stay in touch with Unique Performance and their sweet builds, check out their Instagram page here.
