Diesel Power Products Talks Fleece All Lights On Module For 07+ GM’s

Diesel Power Products is your one-stop-shop site for anything and everything diesel. If you’re wanting sweet add-ons that will dress your truck up or even crank up the horsepower and torque of your diesel, they have you covered. In fact, in a recent conversation with Josh Ullrich at Diesel Power Products, we found that they had an interest in covering this Fleece Performance All Lights On Module for 2007 + GM trucks.

If you or one of your friends has a GM pickup truck, that’s Sierra or Silverado, you know that when you go to your high beams, the low beam light and fog light system stop working. By design, they just do that but the downfall is the limitations of light at night. Diesel Power Products was pleased to let us know that now there is a fix; Fleece Performance All Lights On Module.

Stay safer, see further, and brighten your night time driving experience with Fleece's All Lights On device. The All Lights On allows your high-beams, low-beams, and fog lamps to all be on simultaneously to illuminate the roadway when your high beams are activated. When your high beams are not on, your low-beams and fog lamps will operate normally.

“While we obviously like to see newly released performance parts, inexpensive, common-sense upgrades, such as this part from Fleece, it can appeal to a vastly larger audience and we applaud the crew at Fleece for their ingenuity,” said Josh Ullrich, Marketing Manager.

What is it? This small module that Fleece has manufactured is going to find itself in your trucks wiring harness and what it will do is allow your high beams, low beams, and fog lights to be on all at the same time. This will enable all of the light your truck has to offer simultaneously and you won’t have a shortage of visibility.

What’s great about these modules is the quick and easy installation. It takes roughly five to ten minutes to install and you’re ready to drive. All you’re doing is tieing two wires together under the dash and it’s completed. As you can see below, here is somewhat of a step-by-step process of how the crew at Diesel Power Products got it done.

Installation

STEP 1: Locate the Body Control Module (BCM) located just under the dash on the driver’s side of the vehicle.

STEP 2: Disconnect the brown connector from the BCM. Remove any tape or wrap to expose enough of the wires to install the All Lights On Module (3-4 inches).

STEP 3: Locate pin 10 (fog lamp control). The wire is brown or tan with a white stripe. From the bottom right side of the connector, count over 5 pins and up 3 pins to locate the wire. Route this wire through the circuit board and connection labeled “fogs”.

STEP 4: Locate Pin 18 (high beam control). The wire is brown or tan with a purple stripe. Route this wire through the circuit board and connection labeled “highs”. From the bottom right side of the connector, count over 3 pins and up 2 pins to locate the wire.

STEP 5: Position the cover over the wires and squeeze it downward with a pair of pliers to force the wires into the insulation displacement prongs. Install the brown connector back into the BCM.

NOTE: The connector cover is a one-time use part. Double check the pin locations before installing the cover, it cannot be removed and re-used.

Operation: Low beams and fog lights will operate normally when high beams are activated, the fog lamps and low beams will remain on. NOTE: For dual filament bulbs – only your fog lamps will remain activated when the high beams are turned on with the All Lights On module.
