Mini Feature: Brandon Antonucci’s Cummins-Powered ’93 W250 Ram

Although the “big truck” niche seems like an American pastime, the truth is, it’s popular all over. Canada native, Brandon Antonucci, has been into diesel trucks for years now and he’s transforming a truck that he’s always wanted into a vision he’s always had. Slowly but surely, this 1993 W250 Ram will be how he wants it.

“I have been building these trucks ever since I could remember. I actually started with a 2009 Ram riding on 12-inches of lift,” Antonucci said. “I liked the newer trucks, but I’ve always loved the first gens and the 12-valve Cummins engines they come with.” A neat part about Antonucci’s build is that he’s done all of the body and paintwork in his own shop with the help of his grandfather.

“Working alongside my grandfather and building it up together is easily my favorite part of the build,” Antonucci said.

Antonucci explained that this will constantly be evolving but he’s met a lot of influential people along the way. “I made the trip to Far From Stock to pick up all of my suspension components from Mopar Darrel and that was really an amazing experience. Meeting him and seeing everything he’s got going on got me really excited about getting this build done.”

Far From Stock has quite a bit of real estate on this truck as Antonucci bought front and rear bumpers, track bar kit, offset plates, HD steering box brace, and crossover steering kit from them. Riding on Fox Reservoir shocks on all four corners, this truck doesn’t ride like a 1993 model. With 33-inch Sailun Atrezzo tires and 22-inch by 12-inch American Force Evades, this murdered out first-gen has some stance.

A Skyjacker front a rear, 4-inch leaf system, and 2-inch spacers front and rear are other attributes to this rigs width. Off the nose of this Ram is a set of custom Rigid headlights offering maximum visibility.

For right now, this ol’ Ram features a modified VE injection pump, a Pusher Intakes intake system, 4-inch Diamond Eye Performance exhaust, and a HE351CW turbocharger just waiting to fit in under the hood. “The truck is pretty mild right now but I have big plans. I would love to do a P-Pump swap on it for the extra power backed by a good transmission. I’m looking into a Loganbuilt 47RH transmission build with a full-manual valve body/shifter kit,” Antonucci said.
