Cleetus McFarland Adds Another Diesel-Powered Machine To The Fleet!

For those of you who live under a rock, you may not recognize this guy or his rides. Cleetus McFarland is one of YouTube’s biggest automotive stars with his sea of project builds ranging from bodiless Corvettes to rotary-powered minivans. There are a few diesel-powered machines within the McFarland fleet, but only one is really “hopped up”.

The 12-valve Cummins-powered Ford Galaxy takes the cake for the first “cool” diesel machine on the channel, but McFarland saw a need for more. When most of his friends in Southern Flordia have “mud trucks”, it was only a matter of time before Ol’ Cleeter got himself one too. Just a few days ago McFarland showcased the newest member of the fleet to over 1.1-million viewers. The Mud Truck.

This Chevrolet Silverado features 30-inch shocks, an SCS transfer case, four-link suspension, 5-ton military axles, and a 600-horsepower Duramax diesel engine. “I picked this truck up early on in 2020 for $20,000. I want to set the record straight, this truck gets used,” McFarland said. “This is no means a gem. We use her and it shows. See, you can see the rust here!”
