It wasn’t but just a few years ago that a new event coined “The Ultimate Callout Challenge” came into our world. We weren’t sure what to expect but this event has delivered huge horsepower and torque, big explosions, record-setting speeds, and the best sled-pulling action year after year. It is that time again and we’re headed back to the legendary Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Starting June 3rd, 2022, the action begins. Friday will be for the Ultimate Callout Challenge competitors to try their luck on the dragstrip. This is where each competitor will have a few hours to get the fastest and quickest pass in the 1/8th mile to collect points for the event. In the afternoon and evening, the Outlaw Diesel Super Series will invade the space and join the UCC drivers in more timed runs for their qualifying for their race Saturday
Once the evening concludes, we’ll move into the big day, Saturday. This is where the UCC trucks have now converted into dyno mode and they will head to the rollers to crank out the most horsepower and torque possibly without detonating. Hopefully. Meanwhile, the Outlaw Diesel guys in the E.T, 7.70, 6.70, 5.90, Pro Street, Pro Mod, and Pro Dragster classes will be competing in the Firepunk Diesel Outlaw Revenge event.
You will sit trackside and watch nonstop drag racing action while the dyno stays hot all day. You won’t find this kind of action anywhere else at any other event. If you haven’t been to the Ultimate Callout Challnge, you’re truly missing out. Rounding out Saturday, the ODSS champions will be crowned and the UCC competitors will either be rebuilding their engines, celebrating their big numbers on the dyno, or preparing for sled-pulling Sunday.
You wont want to miss this year as each competitor is after that coveted 3,000-horsepower mark on the dyno.
Heading into Sunday, the ODSS crews will be packing up early so they can grab their seats at the circle track arena here at Lucas Oil Raceway to watch all of the sled-pulling action. This is where each UCC competitor will pull the sled as far as possible and close out their weekend with hopefully enough points to win the entire event.
This event brings huge prize money so you will see nothing but the best of what the diesel industry has to offer.
