Few motorsports showcase raw horsepower, mechanical ingenuity, and competitive grit quite like tractor pulling. In 2026, Hot Shot’s Secret is once again putting its support behind the sport in a big way, announcing the return of the NTPA Hot Shot’s Secret Challenge and committing $30,000 in bonus payouts to the nation’s top pullers.
The announcement further strengthens Hot Shot’s Secret’s longstanding relationship with the National Tractor Pullers Association (NTPA), where the company serves as both a National Circuit Sponsor and the organization’s official fuel and fuel additive sponsor.

Raising The Stakes For 2026
The Hot Shot’s Secret Challenge returns for its fourth season as one of the most lucrative bonus programs on the NTPA Grand National circuit. Designed to reward consistent excellence throughout the season, the Challenge offers additional payouts to competitors across all 14 Grand National divisions.
This year, the top three point earners in each division will battle for a share of the $30,000 bonus fund across six premier events. Depending on class schedules, competitors can earn points over six to 10 hooks throughout the Challenge series, creating a highly competitive race that rewards both performance and consistency.
Since its debut in 2023, the Hot Shot’s Secret Challenge has become a meaningful incentive for Grand National competitors. By the end of the 2026 season, the program will have paid out more than $120,000 in bonus money to NTPA pullers.
A Nationwide Showcase Of Pulling’s Best
The 2026 Hot Shot’s Secret Challenge schedule features six marquee events spanning some of the most iconic venues in the sport:
Tomah, Wisconsin, June 25-27; Chapel Hill, Tennessee, July 24-25; Brandenburg, Kentucky, July 24-25; Fort Recovery, Ohio, July 31-August 1; Rockwell, Iowa, August 6-8; and Bowling Green, Ohio, August 20-22.
Each stop represents a critical opportunity for competitors chasing Challenge points, while fans get to witness some of the toughest competition and most powerful machines in tractor pulling.

A Partnership Built On Performance
Hot Shot’s Secret has been a fixture in NTPA competition for nearly a decade, making the partnership a natural fit. The company’s diesel additives, fuels, and lubricants are already trusted by many competitors and diesel enthusiasts who demand maximum reliability and performance from their equipment.
“NTPA delivers high-stakes competition, a dedicated diesel enthusiast fan base, and family fun,” said Kyle Fischer, Director of Field Marketing and Partnerships for Hot Shot’s Secret. “We are thrilled to host the Hot Shot’s Secret Challenge again for 2026 and look forward to connecting with the puller community that knows our products and is loyal to Hot Shot’s Secret proven formulations.”
That enthusiasm is shared by NTPA leadership, which recognizes the impact the program has had on competitors throughout the season.
“Hot Shot’s Secret has been an incredible partner to the NTPA and our competitors,” said Rich Schaefer, NTPA Chief Operating Officer. “Their investment in the Hot Shot’s Secret Challenge continues to elevate the level of competition while rewarding the dedication and performance of our pullers.”

More Than Just Sponsorship
In a motorsport where every horsepower counts and every hook matters, support programs like the Hot Shot’s Secret Challenge do more than add prize money. They help strengthen the sport by rewarding teams that commit the time, resources, and determination required to compete at the highest level.
For fans, it adds another layer of excitement to an already intense season. For competitors, it’s another reason to push harder when the sled gets heavy and the pressure rises.
As the 2026 season unfolds, all eyes will be on the six-event Challenge series to see which pullers rise to the top and claim their share of the bonus money. One thing is certain: Hot Shot’s Secret continues to put its money where diesel performance lives.
