For years now, Innovative Diesel Performance has been tuning many of the fastest trucks in the country. Their tuning has always been limited to those devices that allow custom tuning. Thanks to recent changes in the tuning industry, that offering has just increased.
It was a little more than one year ago that SCT acquired Bully Dog and we are starting to see new product roll off the line per say that shows the sharing of technology. SCT’s devices will have the ability to change the tune while the vehicle is driving and Bully Dog’s new tuners support custom tuning!
One of the first custom tuners to jump on the opportunity was Eric Eldreth owner and tuner at Innovative Diesel Performance. Eldreth has been a leader in the Power Stroke custom tuning from day one with SCT (He was their first diesel tuner), and he has managed to tune some of the highest horsepower trucks in the country.
The Bully Dog Platinum tuners will support custom tuning for pretty much all Ford gas and diesel applications, most GM gas applications and LBZ and LMM Duramax engines. Some of the examples of the increases that can be made are shown below.

Ford 6.4 Power Stroke
- 350 to 430 horsepower and 710 to 860 lb-ft of torque
Ford 6.0 Power Stroke
- 310 to 440 horsepower and 560 to 780 lb-ft of torque.
