At Diesel Army we love to find great news stories that have to do with helping out our folks in the military. After all without them our lives and freedoms would not be possible. The latest good news story we have come across is from the company Cequent. Cequent is the parent companies of such brands as Draw Tite, Hidden Hitch, Reese and more. Check out the latest information from them below.

Official Company Press Release:

Cequent™ Performance Products recently donated a supply of provisions to the Freedom Center. The Freedom Center is a place where members of the military, their families, and veterans can relax during their travels. The Freedom Center is located at the Detroit Metro Airport and at the Military Entrance Processing Command.

“Neither of these locations is far from our Plymouth, Michigan headquarters,” says John Kroll, Senior Technical Service Representative and volunteer at the Freedom Center.

The donation to the Freedom Center was a natural fit given the existing donation to Brad Keselowski’s Checkered Flag Foundation (CFF), which also honors members of the military as well as other American heroes. During its rebate season, Draw-Tite donated $5 to CFF for each rebate received.

“We have a number of employees who are either veterans themselves or are somehow connected to the military community,” says Kroll. “It is an honor to partner with the Freedom Center and to bring a local tie-in to our existing partnership with CFF.”

The donation ran from Memorial Day to Independence Day. In that time, a number of goods as well as monetary donations were made to the Freedom Center. For more information, and to learn how you can help, please visit https://mifreedomcenter.org.
