When Full Send Diesel takes on a project, things tend to get wild. Their latest YouTube video shows Kevin and the crew turning an everyday 4th generation Ram Cummins, owned by a young enthusiast named Dalton, into a fire-spitting “diesel Hoonitruck” tribute. Dalton just wanted more power and a fresh look for a truck, which he admitted “sounds like junk,” but he got a whole lot more. The Full Send Diesel team mapped out a serious overhaul. Kevin explained their plan included lowering the truck, fitting custom suspension, and going all-out on the engine with “big fuel, big air… to make this thing the nastiest thing.” He later called it, with evident pride, “…by far the craziest build I’ve done.”
Under the hood, they planned for a massive Force Inductions S472 turbo and a tough Muldoon’s Performance 48RE full manual transmission. They also planned a flamethrower exhaust system just for good measure because why not?
But high-horsepower builds rarely go smoothly. A blown head gasket during a test drive threw a wrench in their tight schedule for the truck’s custom Ken Block inspired Hoonigan tribute wrap.
With the wrap artists at Media Shack LLC already on a deadline, Kevin credited Firepunk Diesel and Lavon Miller for saving the day. Firepunk jumped in and performed an emergency fire-ringed head installation in just hours, allowing the build to continue. After Kevin and his team finished the repairs, the 18-year-old owner Dalton finally saw his transformed truck, complete with the intricate matte and gloss tribute wrap, he was floored. “Oh my gosh dude! It’s not even close to the same truck,” Dalton exclaimed.
After the first test drive, complete with flamethrower blasts and drifting attempts, Dalton described the new power as “like going from a 110 to a 450…” Evan, a friend of Kevin, jokingly warned Dalton about the engine’s stock bottom end, saying, “…you are on borrowed time.”
Full Send Diesel definitely went all-out, transforming Dalton’s Ram into this one-of-a-kind Diesel Hoonitruck. It took a crazy vision, tons of custom fabrication by Kevin’s crew, and some heroic saves from shops like Firepunk and Media Shack to make this fire-breathing, head-turning tribute happen.
The finished truck is pure, over-the-top diesel madness on wheels, showing what’s possible when a team truly goes full hands on with something they really love to build.
