It’s SEMA, baby! As expected, there are hundreds of builds here at the Las Vegas Convention Center and we’re out here on day one looking for the most bad to the bone builds this show has to offer. Wall to wall with builds, the one that caught our eyes was Brian Rogers’ Ford tractor in the JAMO Performance Exhaust booth that iced the cake for us.
We knew this tractor would be here at the show, but it wasn’t until meeting Brian in person when we found out that it was barely completed in time. “It wasn’t until about six months ago we dreamt this up, and here we are. It was a ton of work and it took a team effort with all of the companies involved, and again, here we are,” Rogers said. “In fact, I just had someone here to pinstripe the hood just this morning.”

The SEMA crunch is real. It took months to get the wheels for this tractor and believe it or not, they showed up and were bolted on for the first time yesterday. That’s right. They were brought to the show to complete the ride. Although it was an unbelievably cool build, the wheels really make it. On the nose, this ’48 8N features 20-inch by 10-inch wheels with Toyo tires, and on the rear are the monster 28-inch by 16-inch TIS wheels with 48-inch Interco Tire boggers.
Since the transmission, gearbox, and rearend are designed to hold 25-horsepower, even though it is a 7.3, I don’t think Brian will ever get to “open it up”. One thing is for certain, though. This tractor is sick. We wondered why the 7.3 engine, though. Brian explained that his grandpa bought this tractor brand new and he learned to drive on it. That being said, the family farm truck was a 7.3. Therefore it just made sense to combine the two. One crazy idea and a few months later, here we are.
Compound turbos, AirDog fuel system, TIS Wheels, Interco and TOYO tires, XS batteries, JAMO exhaust, this thing has it all. So far from SEMA 2021, this thing wins day one. Stay tuned for more from the 2021 SEMA show right here on Diesel Army! What do you think about Brian’s creation? Let us know in the comments below!
