Like them or not, “SEMA trucks” aren’t going anywhere. Out here at the 2021 SEMA show, there are literally hundreds of trucks of all shapes and sizes. Every variety you can think of, but is there one that just stands out of crowd? When you’re at the biggest automotive show in the world, how do you find the one that is different?
Well, for me, it was easy. I simply looked into the sea of trucks outside the showroom halls and there was only one that towered over everything else. This raised the question, what is the tallest late-model Ram out there? I think this has to be it. If you know of a taller one, please share. I began looking over the truck to see what all has gone into a build like this a flash is certainly a prerequisite.
Polished and powdered everything, color-matching decals, some absolutely enormous wheels, and the rest of the bells and whistles. Nobody was around the truck when I made my visit so I did what I had to do to get ahold of the owner. Now I understand why they put their Instagram handle on the window because guess how we talked. Yep.
I reached out and talked to @sick_7_evan (Evan) about his truck and found out that this is actually 38-inches of lift. “The truck is still a work in progress, but it is almost done,” he said. “It has a custom 38-inch air ride lift that was designed by Ri Fab out of Idaho.” Regardless of what it is or who designed it, it is the largest thing here.
“We used 28-inch by 16-inch TIS Forged wheels and wrapped them in 44-inch TSL Boggers. Other add-ons are Flog front and rear bumpers, Boost Bars front grille, FOA 16-inch travel shocks, step mats by Next Level Mats, bed mat from Black Armor Mats, and Bamfled rock lights.” What do you think of builds like this?
I know they have raised some questions in the past, would love to hear what you think. Let us know in the comments below!
