More flow never hurt anyone, right? And in the case of a diesel engine pushing substantial amounts of boost, it’s even more important to be able to maintain high flow rates without restriction. That’s why 2003-07 Dodge truck owners should check out the new BladeRunner intercooler hot side inlet tube from aFe Power.
Official Release:
aFe Power announces the release of an intercooler tube IN for the 2003-07 Dodge Diesel Trucks L6-5.9L (td), P/N 46-20018.
The aFe inlet intercooler tube represents the next generation of diesel performance products. This intercooler tube uses smooth bend radii for increased air flow over the factory intercooler tube. This intercooler tube lines up directly to factory couplings for a convenient, tight and secure installation with minimal parts. Work with both stock and aFe Power’s performance intercooler. The intercooler tube is constructed of 3″ mandrel bent powder-coated stainless steel tubing for maximum flow and durability. Smooth transition bends allow for low turbulence, increasing horsepower, torque and lowering EGT’s.
Utilizing the factory mounting locations provide stability and a hassle-free installation. Unique stainless steel laser-cut aFe Power logo plate is welded-on for an aggressive style. P/N 46-20018 retails from around $114.45 and is available in stores now.
Features:
- 3-inch mandrel-bent powder-coated stainless tube
- Outflows stock intercooler tube
- Bolt-on kit fits OEM and aFe’s upgraded intercooler (P/N 46-20011)
- Hot-side tube upgrade
