In the famous words of Michael Buffer, “let’s get ready to ruuuuuummmmmmblllllle!” That’s right, it is once again time for the AMSOIL Ultimate Callout Challenge. To say I want to make sure you have made arrangements to be there would be an understatement. The event is happening soon — June 2 through 4, actually — so you need to hurry up to get your vacation time planned.

During the inaugural event in 2016, I wasn’t sure what to expect, but that first year was epic. Now in its eighth year, this event has continually delivered unbelievable horsepower and torque numbers, big explosions, record-setting speeds, and the best sled-pulling action year after year. Well, in case you didn’t know, it is that time again and the event is headed back to the legendary Lucas Oil Raceway in Indianapolis, Indiana.

If you’re a fan of trucks that pull stuff, the Ultimate Callout Challenge is one event you need to attend.

Starting June 2, 2023, the action begins. Friday will be for the Ultimate Callout Challenge competitors to try their luck on the dragstrip, dyno, and burnout pit. Saturday, June 3 is filled with show trucks filling the venue, Dyno pulls, and Outlaw Diesel Super Series racing. Once evening rolls around, the sled pulling gets underway. On Sunday, the gates open at 10:00 a.m., and the sled pulling starts at 1:00 p.m.

Show and shine, dyno pulls, drag racing, and sled pulling what else could a diesel enthusiast ask for?

The Ultimate Callout Challenge brings together the best competitors in North America to battle it out over three days, competing in a drag race, sled pulling, and dyno competition. This really is a must-attend event for any diesel enthusiast, so make sure you get there.
