It’s official, Wehrli Custom Fabrication has acquired Calibrated Power Solutions, ushering in a new era of diesel performance innovation.
Two of the biggest names in diesel performance are officially joining forces. Wehrli Custom Fabrication (WCFab), known for its high-end fabrication, machining, and powder coating, has acquired Calibrated Power Solutions, the parent company of Duramaxtuner. The move brings together two companies with a long history of collaboration and a shared commitment to pushing the limits of modern diesel performance.
Jason Wehrli, owner and CEO of WCFab, says the acquisition has been years in the making.
“We’ve worked side by side since the very beginning—a partnership more than 15 years in the making,” said Wehrli. “The Calibrated Power team delivers top-notch tuning, which is rare in today’s market. They understand how our high-flow upgrades interact with their calibrations, and we’ve consistently seen outstanding results from their Stealth Series Turbo line. By officially joining forces, we’ll be able to deliver even better performance solutions to our customers, faster than ever before.”
What It Means For Diesel Enthusiasts
The acquisition combines WCFab’s state-of-the-art design, engineering, and U.S.-based manufacturing with Calibrated Power’s expertise in engine calibration and turbocharger development. Together, the companies aim to accelerate product innovation while maintaining the reliability and drivability that diesel owners demand.
Calibrated Power’s founder, Nick Priegnitz, will remain in a leadership role, continuing to guide technical product development and ensure smooth transitions for customers and employees. He will also lead upcoming projects, including support for the 2024+ L5P Duramax and 2023+ 6.7-liter Power Stroke, as well as ongoing refinement of legacy solutions like the 70mm Drop-In Stealth Mach 3 turbo for the 5.9-liter Cummins.
Priegnitz sees the acquisition as a natural evolution of the companies’ long-standing partnership.
“Since we first tuned Jason’s compound turbo LB7 back in 2010, I was impressed by the quality of WCFab’s parts,” said Priegnitz. “Over the years, we’ve collaborated on projects like the industry’s first emissions-compliant LML Compound Turbo Kit, which helped redefine what compliant performance could be. By combining our calibration and turbocharging expertise with WCFab’s world-class manufacturing, we’re setting the stage for the next generation of diesel performance.”
A Shared Vision For The Future
Both companies emphasized that they will continue to operate independently, but customers can expect closer collaboration on product development and a stronger pipeline of performance solutions. While terms of the deal were not disclosed, the partnership signals a major shift in the aftermarket diesel landscape.
For enthusiasts, that means more proven parts and tuning packages developed and validated together—offering reliable, emissions-compliant power backed by two of the most respected names in the industry.
