One local company from Texas City, Mark-1 Plumbing, had to take their phones off the hook due to flooding calls to the business, and not in a good way. Mark-1 Plumbing has been receiving some downright scary and threatening phone calls due to a situation with one of the company’s old work trucks.
According to this YouTube video from CNN, a photo was posted on an Islamic Milita
nt Group’s Twitter feed which shows one of the company’s old work trucks, which clearly says Mark-1 Plumbing on the side, now transformed into an anti-aircraft firing weapon on the front lines of Syria’s civil war.
How did it get there? Mark Oberholtzer, the business owner, has papers showing that he had traded the truck in last year to an AutoNation dealership in Houston. The dealership said the truck was immediately sent to auction trading owners over and over before making its way to the front lines in Syria in the hands of Islamic terrorists.
Never in Mark’s right mind did he think that one of his old trucks, one that was used to tow trailers and equipment back and forth for his “ma and pop” shop, would end up on the front line of a war in a whole different world.
