Harley Davidson edition Ford trucks command a premium for their luxurious appointments, badging, and limited production numbers. When you see one rolling down the road you know the owner takes pride in their truck. Some HD Ford owners are content to polish the paint, keep the chrome spiffy-clean, and leave it at that. And then there are those who use the broadside of their F-250 as a canvas, and the interior as a plush concert hall.
This 2005 F-250 has obviously been disassociated from it’s original owner due to the lack of information the seller provides, but we can see it was somebody’s pride and joy to build. With all the options already checked this truck has navigation, sun-roof, leather captains chairs, a CD player, and power everything. The 6.0-liter Powerstroke Diesel V8 has a modest 97,000 miles on the clock.
The exterior of this four-door, four-wheel drive truck appears to be a deeply candied black, who knows how many coats of clear were needed to attain that finish. Vibrant and lively flames lick down the side of the cab, spilling onto the bedsides. Giant Nitto tires are suspended by an eight-inch BDS suspension lift featuring FOX shocks.
A plate and tubular steel bumper comes courtesy of OffroadTech and holds a winch, additional recovery points, and PIAA lights.
The interior of the truck shows an expected ten years of age but doesn’t disappoint, with custom touches front and back. A-pillar mounted auxiliary gauges let the driver keep tabs on the engine, and trans vitals, while the rear passengers can have their eardrums imploded by the massive sound box containing the sound system.
The bed features a carpet liner and teneau cover for some utility but a custom bubble-flared hood conceals the Powerstroke’s unknown modification extents.
A truck like this may not be everyone’s cup of tea but to some it’s the ultimate form of expression, status, and virility. We’ll let you decide.
