Well, we knew it wouldn’t be too long before we started seeing some of the show trucks listed. Today, we found a 2012 Ram 2500 from the SEMA Show.
The truck was built by the guys at Street to Sand Off Road and Performance in Reno, NV. (We featured a couple of their rides last year.) According to the listing, the truck is called Bad Influence and was build strictly for the SEMA Show (hence why it is now for sale).
The truck is rolling on a set of 37 inch Nitto Mud Grapplers that encase 22×12 inch Hostile Wheels. To fit the wheel and tire package, the truck was raised ten inches with a BDS Suspension long arm lift kit. Fox Performance dual reservoir shocks are mounted in the front with single reservoir shocks in the rear. To make sure that the truck still tows well, Firestone Ride-Rite air bags were mounted in the rear.
Adding to the comfort of the ride, the interior was wrapped with ultra-sued and leather from Alea Leather. To continue the custom paint scheme by Elite Customs, the interior was treated to some custom graphics and Diode Dynamics custom interior lighting. In fact, Diode Dynamics also, did the exterior underbody lighting.
The rear tail lights were smoked and a set of Hornblaster train horns were mounted in the rear. To aid in the visibility at night, the front headlights were upgraded with a set of Elite Custom headlights with back lighting. A full treatment of Baja Designs LED lighting was, also, installed.
To give the truck a little “beefier” appearance, EGR Automotive fender flares were added along with Fusion Bumpers front and rear. Mounted to the front bumpers are a set of Monster Hooks swivel hooks. Behind the bumper is the AWC Grille. Up top, a AIT Racing fiberglass hood with functional ram air wraps up the exterior modifications.
Under the hood, things were kept simple. The EGR was deleted with a Sinister Diesel EGR delete kit, a S&B Filters cold air intake was added and paired with a five inch Diamond Eye Performance exhaust system. To give the truck a little more pep, a H&S Performance Mini Max racing tuner was installed.
All and all, this is a true custom SEMA Show truck. The owner has the price at just shy of $90,000. The auction is up in 7 days, so if you are interested, check it out now.
