Every year the Weekend on the Edge event is one of the biggest on the West Coast. This year looks to be no exception. This year’s event will be held on September 20 in Ogden, Utah. According to Edge, “Last year’s event featured the largest payout on record and the bar will be raised again in 2014!  Edge will be awarding over $27,000 in cash to dyno and sled pull participants!  Once again, the top 5 dyno contestants will all receive a cash payout and all sled pullers will be competing for the biggest purse of the year.”

Now, let’s take a more indepth look at just what will be happening and when. Starting at 8AM on Saturday, Sept. 20, Edge Products Headquarters will host the dyno day action along with an open house.

According to Edge, “Edge will have (3) dynos up and running again this year.  Trucks begin lining up early so make sure you’re there to get your spot and show us what your truck can do!  Several of our partners will be on site with vendor booths, giveaways, and some impressive trucks on display.  XDP, Airaid, Snow Performance, ATS Diesel, and more will be in attendance.

Special thanks to XDP this year for sponsoring a free lunch.  You’ll have a chance to meet with some of Edge’s sponsored drivers and take photos next to these world-class rigs.  Tom Hansen, Weylin Richards, Ryan Thain, Edge’s sponsored Baja chase trucks and others will be on site. Our dyno day is fun for the whole family and a great way to see old friends and meet new ones.  Make sure you’re there to watch some of the most impressive diesel trucks in the country strut their stuff on the dyno.”

Also, during this event, Edge will have various apparel, including their new “Driven” hoodies and t-shirts on sale, as well as showing off their new Mossy Oak Evolution line available just in time for hunting season.

Then later that night head over to the Golden Spoke Arena, inside the Weber County Fairgrounds, for the Edge Pulling Series Truck and Tractor Pull Season Finale. The Golden Spoke Arena is a new location for this event and is expected to enhance the experience for both competitors and spectators.  According to Edge, “Pullers have been battling all year for their respective class championships.  They’ll have an opportunity to take home some hardware and a nice paycheck Saturday night.  Edge will be contributing over $25,000 in cash to the purse payouts this year.”  In addition to the pulling action, there will be a vendor alley with several of the Edge Pulling sponsors showing their latest “must haves”. The evening of pulling will conclude with Edge’s traditional King of the Diesels final pulling competition.  Edge will be taking the 1^st & 2^nd place finishers from the diesel classes and letting them make one final run for $1000!  Winner takes all.
