Goodyear Introduces TOW365 Roadside Towing Service

Being we use our diesel trucks for a variety of things from hauling things, to lugging the family around to work, we have been stranded in the middle of nowhere quite a few times. Luckily, we have always had AAA or another service that provides towing already in place. But, horror stories run rampant when it comes to being stuck in the middle of nowhere with no place in site and no-one to call. Now, thanks to the latest program from Goodyear they can help. Check out all the details below.

With millions of Americans planning to hit the road during the Independence Day holiday weekend, it’s important to be prepared—and few events can ruin a summer road trip faster than a vehicle breakdown. To help drivers get back on the road quickly and safely, Goodyear has introduced TOW365—a new roadside towing service with no sign-up or membership fee required.

TOW365 provides stranded motorists with towing to the nearest participating Goodyear Tire & Service Network location. The service is available 24/7, and towing rates are the same regardless of the day or time you call, even on holidays.

“For more than 100 years, Goodyear has been committed to keeping America moving,” said Marissa Zilch, Tire & Service Network Marketing Planner. “Our new TOW365 service will make it even easier for drivers to get back on the road quickly, with quality service from a name they can trust.”

Using TOW365 is simple. When you’re in need of towing assistance, just call 1-877-GYR4TOW or use the TOW365 app on your smartphone to arrange a tow to the nearest participating Goodyear Tire & Service Network location. The TOW365 app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play. In addition to instantly connecting drivers with towing assistance, the app can also provide information on a vehicle’s current location.

Once the vehicle has been towed, the tow fee is paid directly to the Tire & Service Network dealer, so there is no need to arrange payment with a tow truck driver.

The program covers all cars, light trucks, and SUVs at $39.99 for tows up to 10 miles. Tows over 10 miles cost $59.99, with an additional cost of $3.75 per mile for tows of more than 20 miles.

More information on the TOW365 service is available at www.goodyear.com.
