Diesel dragsters have been rapidly gaining popularity, however today there really just aren’t that many in existence. Well, H&S Motorsports is looking to change that with their new Duramax powered dragster. They recently decided to unveil it briefly to the world and really show what it could do.
The video starts out with them starting up the Duramax diesel dragster. After running for a few minutes, it begins to spool up and you really start to get a sense of the power this ride is going to have. Then, like a jet engine, it fires all the way and bam it’s gone. Straight out of the garage and down the parking lot in nothing flat. The test pass is over before it really even gets started. This is one time we wish we could use the NFL slow motion reply cams to really see all that is going on.
We are truly looking forward to seeing this dragster come to life for the 2015 race season. The guys at H&S Motorsports clearly have a tremendous plan and know exactly where they are going with the build. The question is…when will they share the details and let the rest of us in on their secrets. Our gut tells us, it will be at the track as they blow by their competitors before anyone even realizes that the race has started.

After coasting for a second, there is more tire smoke then black smoke. Looking forward to seeing this thing run on the track!
Over the years that have been quite a number of dragsters built and they may make a couple of passes. Then they just disappear. The Scheid Diesel Dragster and the Powerflow Dragster have been the only ones consistently making rounds for more than a year it seems. Do you think the H&S crew will be able to add a third one to the mix?
