That dreaded time of year when it’s too cold outside and the dragstrips aren’t open anymore is basically here. Besides that good family time, there isn’t much to look forward to in the offseason except for possibly some winter upgrades. That was, of course, until the Outlaw Diesel Super Series made an announcement about their 2022 season.

Even though that doesn’t make the dates get here sooner, having a date in mind gives us all something to look forward to. Without further ado, here are your 2022 dates, locations, and events. Which event will you be coming to?

Round #1 – Hardway Spring Shakedown

Once again, we’ll fire off the ODSS season down in the beautiful panhandle of Florida at Emerald Coast Dragway. Previously run by Hardway Performance‘s Ryan Milliken, he can’t stay away from racing, and the diesel action continues there. Like all of the upcoming mentions in this season, the racing will include E.T, 7.70 Index, 6.70 Index, Outlaw 5.90 Index, Pro Street, Pro Mod, and Pro Dragster.

If you’re wanting to make a push for the 2022 championship for the class of your choice, you need to start out strong and make it to round number one.

April 1st-2nd-2022-Emerald Coast Dragway, 7134 Garner Landing Road, Holt, Florida, 32564

Round #2 – Rudy’s Spring Truck Jam

Typically, in years past, Rudy’s was the kick-off show. As of late, Rudy’s has become a round two site due to the weather constrictions in Florida. The scheduling forced them to make a change to ensure racing would happen. “Rudy’s” is one of the biggest events on the east coast and it typically brings in thousands of people. If you’re on the east coast, this is one you won’t want to miss.

Round #3- Firepunk Diesel‘s Outlaw Diesel Revenge

This is the second year that “ODR” has been held within the Ultimate Callout Challenge event. Last year, as a trial run, the event was held during the gauntlet challenge so fans could have nonstop action. It worked flawlessly. While you have 2,500+ horsepower pulls happening on the dyno trackside, you’ve got two four-second capable Pro Street trucks ripping down the track. This is another huge weekend you don’t want to miss.

June 3rd – 5th 2022 – Lucas Oil Raceway, 10267 US Hwy 136, Indianapolis, Indiana, 46234

Round #4 – Rocky Top Diesel Shootout

Rocky Top is and always will be one of the neatest events the ODSS has all year long. Nestled in the side of a mountain in the great state of Tennessee, Rocky Top brings a huge truck show, a pile of trucks drag racing for multiple days, a street bike stunt show, and so much more. If you’re unable to make it to the northern or southern races, maybe this centrally located event will suit you better. With the Rocky Top Diesel Shootout, you won’t be disappointed.

Round #5- Scheid Diesel Extravaganza

I know this sounds cliche, but the Scheid Diesel Extravaganza is a must-hit too. It takes the world’s best diesel drag racing and combines it with the world’s best truck and tractor pulling of the PPL. Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League in the dirt, and just a short walk over here is the super competitive ODSS drag racing. All housed within the walls of Wagler Motorsports Park, this is a “field party” you don’t want to miss.

Round #6- Rudy’s Fall Truck Jam – Season Finale

After five grueling rounds of racing, it all comes down to this. We will return back to Piedmont Dragway and square off one last time to decide who will take home a championship and who will come up just short. Same as the spring event, the invasion of North Carolina’s fine little track will include drag racing, dirt drags, truck shows, and more. Put it on the calendar and we’ll see you there.
