If you haven’t been following the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League’s Champions Tour this year, you’re missing out. The 2019 season has crisscrossed the heart of the country, bringing intense truck and tractor pulling competition to nine states. The final opportunity to catch the action live is this Saturday, September 21, for the Lucas Oil Mega Pull at the Greene County Fairgrounds in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania.

This year’s Lucas Oil Mega Pull will feature the final round of action for Optima Batteries Super Modified 2WD Trucks, Mini Rods, Unlimited Super Stock Tractors, and ARP Super Stock Diesel Trucks. Keep an eye on Big Ed Red and Midnight Revenger in the Optima Batteries Super Modified 2WD class. Both trucks made big moves in Wheatland, Missouri and are coming into the Lucas Oil Mega Pull tied for first place.

Mini Rods should put on a good show, with Buckeye Special and Bob Cat Jr only separated by a small margin. We expect Show No Mercy and Have No Mercy to put on the pressure with both hoping to claim the championship for themselves. Buckeye Special’s consistency has provided a leading edge, but the division win will ultimately come down to Saturday’s showing.

Mike Chizek’s line-up has dominated the Unlimited Super Stock Tractor class this season. Chizek’s Armed & Dangerous International Threat is poised to defend the top spot, but expect strong showings from Considered Armed & Dangerous HD and Extremely Armed & Dangerous as well.

A crowd favorite, the ARP Super Stock Diesel Trucks are coming in with tensions high to round out the Mega Pull line-up. While Scheid Diesel has earned four wins this season, Against the Grain sit just a few points behind. Both are hungry to bring home the championship.
