Ford F-150 Diesel 3.0-Liter Power Stroke
Like the late model GM’s, the 3.0 has to show out with its big introduction from Ford. While it is hard at work, Edge has extended their coverage of the Insight Cs2, CTS2, and the AMP Throttle Booster for the new 3.0-Liter Power Stroke diesel trucks. With all of the towing capabilities these trucks offer, you’re for sure going to want to monitor the vitals of your engine to ensure safe and efficient traveling.
The new Ford 3.0L Diesel is now equipped with EGT sensors and the diesel exhaust filter (DPF) that allows the unburnt fuel (black smoke and NOx) to be burnt completely, before exiting the exhaust tip. This allows the truck to reduce the NOx levels it produces and clears up the black smoke or unburnt fuel. With new technology comes the added need and benefit to watching your truck like a hawk.
