We here at Power Automedia (the publishing company that owns Diesel Army) are fortunate to work with a lot of really talented individuals and companies. Mentally, we always keep track of the “movers and shakers” that are making things happen and setting trends.
For us, we keep an especially close eye on the artists that render high profile vehicles. These are the guys that give the builders of some of the most iconic vehicles something to go by. Whether these artists know it or not, they are setting the ground work for newest trends.
One of the biggest names in the truck industry that you have probably never heard of is KEG-Media. These guys render probably more than anyone else when it comes to SEMA Show vehicles. Last year, they rendered over 140 vehicles and this year Robbie Bryant (owner of KEG-Media) said they were probably going to be over 200 vehicles. (Here is an Artist Profile our sister magazine Rod Authority did on KEG-Media.)
So, as the SEMA Show fast approaches, we have been keeping a keen eye on KEG-Media’s Facebook page. They post only some of the renderings, but what they post look crazy good and we are excited to see what is coming down the pipe for the SEMA Show!
In addition to rendering a crazy amount of vehicles, they also, manage to build one or two of their own. While these aren’t always a diesel truck, these are usually some pretty crazy sic vehicles. This year, they are building a 2015 Chevy 3500 that is sure to be a killer! They have only posted a few photos of them widening the front fenders 3 ½ inches.
Certainly something we are starting to pick up on, is a regular cab dually theme. While we know one company is building two of them, KEG-Media has done quite a few renderings this year of regular cab dually trucks. Could this be the next big cab configuration?
Check out some of the renderings below that KEG-Media has posted on their Facebook page. Also, keep an eye out as we are about to announce the rendering they did for us back in January!
