Well, Built Diesel is doing it again! They are giving away another FREE truck. This year the contest is for a 1994 Dodge Ram 3500, 2006 Chevrolet 2500, or 1997 Ford F-350.
The contest this year is called The Built Diesel 3 Armed Forces Edition. So, far the details on the ’94 Dodge have been little vague.
The video above details the initial game plan for the ’94. The initial upgrades include: Fusion Bumpers front bumper, new suspension, new rims and tires, re-coated bed, truck boxes, twin stacks, Industrial Injection twin turbochargers, FASS Fuel System, double disk clutch and all new interior. Since this video, the truck has been to Industrial Injection. We will keep our eyes out for updates as to what the wizards at II have done to the engine!
Directly above is a video detailing their initial plans for the 2006 Chevy 2500. The engine is an LBZ, and the truck currently have about 60,000 miles on it. The interior is fully appointed with leather and power everything, including a sun roof.
The basic plans for the truck are to replace the lift with a 7” McGaughys Suspension lift, then install 37” Toyo Tires mounted on a set of 20” Gear Alloy wheels. The front grille will be replaced with a RBP (Rolling Big Power) grill. The front and rear bumpers will be replaced with Fusion Bumpers and Rigid Industries lights will be installed in them. They are going to also, clean up the exterior by removing all of the badges and then putting a full camo wrap on the truck. Under the hood, will be a 63mm Fleece Performance Cheetah turbo. The truck will be tuned with EFILive.
No details have been release on the 1997 Ford F-350 yet. We will be keeping our eyes pealed for updates. So, stay tuned!
