Smokey Mountain Black Out Event (Dyno, Sled Pull, Show and Shine)

As summer is in full swing, more and more events are being announced. It is great to see all of the activities that are available for like minded diesel people!

One event that has a fair amount of hype is the Smokey Mountain Black Out event hosted by the Smokey Mountain Coal Rollers under the Diesel Motorsports rules. This event will have a dyno running most of the day, show and shine as well as sled pulling in the afternoon and into the evening.

In addition to the diesel stuff going on, there will be lots of kid activities, full concessions and vendor displays to check out the latest stuff. Judging by the amount of hype and activity around this event, we (Diesel Army) are expecting to see a great turnout.

 There are a number of sled pulling classes ranging from true bone stock all the way up to outlaw! In addition to the truck classes, there will be some tractor classes like Hot Farm to really put on a show for the crowd.

So, if you don’t any anything marked for that weekend yet; you may want to go ahead and book off the 6^th of September as this will be a howling good time!
