What a year 2016 was, the action never stopped with the Outlaw Diesel Super Series (ODSS) and they have just announced the dates for the 2017 season. We saw some of the best diesel drag racing we’ve ever seen and expect nothing but top notch entertainment when it comes to ODSS drag racing. We’ve got new builds and new rides coming this year and they are gunning for the championship. Returning to competition this year’s events are E.T. Bracket, 7.70/12.00 index, 6.70/10.50, Pro Street, Pro Mod, and Pro Dragster.

One thing we’ve gathered from previous ODSS events is the drivers who travel with the series, will leave it all on the table, no matter what it takes to hit the top of the podium at the end of the day. Even if that means complete and total destruction! The Sportsman class which is always a huge field of trucks is returning for another extremely competitive year.
Will Timothy Cutshall get his revenge on Eugene Ogle this year? They were only separated by 3 points at the final race, what a finish. A growing class of the industry is the 7.70/12.00 index. Ending the Season in 2016 drivers Wade Howard, Larson Miller, and Blake Miller battled all year for the championship and ODSS crowned Wade Howard the winner of the 2016 Season.

What we believe to be a tie of the crowd favorite is the 6.70/10.50 and Pro Street class. Larson Miller in his Mega Cab Ram made a statement in 2016 and took the point’s championship home. Will Banean Woosley and Rick Fox have what it takes to take him down this year? We will definitely be there to find out!
As the returning 2016 points champion Lavon Miller with Firepunk Diesel is the man to beat. Who thinks someone has what it takes to catch him? I’m guessing names like Sullivan, Lunsford and Milliken may have something to say this year. It will be tough for anyone to catch nearly 2,500 horsepower.
