Going rounds is what makes drag racing fun. For most, being the fastest person out there isn’t an option. Between the money it takes to build a Top Diesel rail or the crew or even the desire, it just isn’t going to happen for most of us. We drag race because it is fun.
One of the biggest keys in bracket racing is repeatability. If you can set your dial in and consistently run it or extremely close to it, you will be running rounds. Heck at the end of the day, you may even be able to bring home a little extra money.
BD Diesel Performance recently, released their Staging Limiter. It is designed to regulate the boost pressure at launch. So, you can leave the line more consistently. No longer do you have to regulate the boost pressure while watching the boost gauge and the tree at the same time. Once you set the desired boost pressure, the truck will consistently build that amount of boost each time.
The Staging Limiter’s control panel is simple and easy to use. On the left there is an on off switch. Pretty straight forward here, the on turns on the limiter so you can use it and the off lets you run without it. Perfect for the weekend warrior that uses their truck during the week and races it on the weekend. To the right of the on/off switch, is a rotary dial. The rotary dial lets you fine tune the boost level to exactly what you want/need for the best most consistent launches.
Consistent launches help make consistent 1/4 mile times much easier, all thanks to BD’s Staging Limiter.
