Carlisle Truck Nationals Sets The Standard For A Great Event

It’s early August, and you know what that means — the folks at Carlisle Events gave truck enthusiasts a great weekend at the Carlisle Truck Nationals. Carlisle Pennsylvania was once again the place to be. If you like all things that pertain to hauling, towing, and/or off-roading, you missed a great event.

Let’s start by saying that once again, the event saw record attendance. In fact, an astonishing 2,870 trucks converged on the small town. The Carlisle Truck Nationals is a place for truck owners to converge and check out the latest in build trends, find that much-needed part, or just reconnect with friends you haven’t seen in a year.

Thanks to you guys, for the last three years, the Carlisle Truck Nationals has realized serious growth and has become one of the premier truck events in the country. If you didn’t make it to the event, you missed a great time. The showfield was nearly filled to capacity with lowered mini trucks, lifted big trucks, monster trucks, antique big rigs, modern day haulers, antique fire trucks, cool custom vans, heavy equipment, and so much more.

But the Carlisle Truck Nationals is more than just hot haulers. There’s also a nice mix of family activities and fun for the kids too. That included monster truck rides and shows, a kids’ cash grab, Kids bingo, a magic show, face painting, balloon animals, a goody bag, and best of all, free admission for all kids under the age of 12.

Whether you’re a little kid or a big “kid” big rigs will always draw your attention.

Finding parts to add to your truck is easy, as, the Truck Nationals hosted a variety of swap meet vendors, an aftermarket manufacturers midway, and those looking for their next truck probably found it in the truck corral.

Some of the specialty displays at the event included 40 years of the Ranger, 10 years of the Syclone and Typhoon, and antique fire trucks. Since we’re all about diesel-powered trucks, our favorite area of the event had to be the big rig showfield.
