Ranch Hand, a well-known name in diesel truck protection and accessories, has officially broken ground on a new 400,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Seguin, Texas. The project originates from its parent company, Lippert Components, Inc., a subsidiary of LCI Industries. The expansion marks a significant milestone for the brand as demand for its products continues to rise.

The new facility, located just off I-10, will consolidate Ranch Hand’s two existing plants (which are located in Shiner and Beeville). According to the company, the move reinforces its long-term commitment to Texas manufacturing and to the communities where its team members live and work.

Once completed, the Seguin operation will roughly double Ranch Hand’s current manufacturing capacity for its popular grille guards and bumpers. The company reports that demand has grown significantly over the past five years, partly due to high visibility on television series like Yellowstone and Land Man.

The new plant will also feature a state-of-the-art E-Coat line utilizing a zirconium pre-treatment process, designed to provide stronger corrosion resistance. This upgrade will be particularly beneficial for truck owners in harsher climates.

“This is a long-anticipated expansion for Ranch Hand allowing us to drastically increase service levels to our valued customers and significantly improve lead times,” said Shane McNallie, Senior Vice President of Sales for Lippert’s Automotive Division. “The improvements to our finishing process are also an exciting enhancement which will expand Ranch Hand further into the Northern regions with unrivaled corrosion protection.”

Construction began in September, with the company targeting a move-in date in the second quarter of 2026. Ranch Hand leadership has emphasized that they’re working closely with team members at the Shiner and Beeville plants to support a smooth transition. This includes relocation options, training opportunities, and other resources for those interested in continuing with the company in Seguin.

Local officials have also voiced their support. “We’re thrilled to welcome Ranch Hand and Lippert’s latest expansion to Seguin,” said Seguin Mayor Donna Dodgen. “This project represents another significant investment in our community’s growing manufacturing base and demonstrates the confidence companies have in Seguin as a place to do business.”

Guadalupe County Judge Kyle Kutscher echoed that sentiment, noting the broader regional impact. “Guadalupe County continues to be a strong destination for manufacturing investment, and the Ranch Hand expansion further strengthens that position,” he said. “This is a great win for our workforce and for the future of Guadalupe County’s economy.”

Founded in 1986, Ranch Hand has built a strong reputation for durable, Texas-built truck accessories engineered to withstand hard use. With this expansion, the company looks poised to continue that tradition on an even larger scale.
