Water-methanol injection can work wonders on diesel engines, and Snow Performance has a swell new product to help you take advantage of the technology. The company’s new Plug & Play installation negates the need for any kind of permanent modification to the vehicle in question, and offers more power right out of the box.
Official Release:
Snow Performance now provides Plug & Play installation on all of the company’s water-methanol injection systems, to eliminate any need for drilling, measuring or wiring. The system comes with a vehicle specific harness that easily attaches to the high-flow pump, solenoids, level switch, and 12-volt power and ground connections. “Our new Plug & Play installation is one of the most significant changes in water-methanol delivery in more than a decade,” says Matt Snow, President of Snow Performance. “It makes installation much easier and faster to get the performance customers wanted from the highest quality water-methanol injection system available.”
Snow Performance’s Plug & Play water-methanol injection systems also include vehicle specific Injection Plates for gas applications that work like throttle-body spacers, but feature water-methanol injection nozzles. In diesel applications, Snow Performance provides Injection Boots, that replace the OE inter-cooler-to-intake piping, with a high-grade silicone boot that is tested up to 65 psi and features two built-in nozzles. Both the Injection Plates and Boots eliminate the need for drilling into air intake ducts or piping, and provide optimum water-methanol injection for a variety of popular late-model muscle-car, import, truck and diesel applications.
Features:
- Plug and play
- Injection Boots replace OE intercooler-to-intake piping
- Boots are tested up to 65 psi and have two built-in nozzles
