Servicing a vehicle takes its toll on electrical connectors and harnesses, especially when those items are subject to serious underhood heat like in the case of a turbocharged diesel engine. They dry out and can crack, rendering them useless. In addition, service procedures often require the disassembly or removal of the connector, which can cause it to fail prematurely. The guys at Alliant Power have developed an engine harness connector cover for the 2008-10 Ford F-Series pickup truck to solve these issues. Check it out!
Official Release:
Alliant Power is pleased to announce the release of AP0076 Engine Harness Connector Cover for the below applications. Many service procedures, including injector replacement, require removal of the engine harness connector and the connector cover is often damaged in the process. Failing to replace a damaged connector cover will lead to a loose engine harness connection and ultimately a stranded vehicle. This connector cover is not available separately from the OEM and complete harness replacement is impractical and costly. AP0076 provides a cost effective alternative to complete harness replacement.
Features:
- OE quality
- Prevents engine harness from loosening
- Cost-effective alternative to complete harness replacement
