Every once and awhile we get something in the shop that is completely different than what we have been doing, but not in a bad way. It changes up the shop moral and gives us an excuse to get out from behind our computer.
This week we have Rigid Industries new Radiance light bar in the shop, and a 50-inch to boot. The new feature on this light bar is the back-lighting feature that allows there to be a separate specific color light up around the regular LEDs. The Radiance light bars come with color options such as blue, white, red, green, and amber.
This light bar line offers quite a bit of other unique features that include:
- Runs on 9-15 volts DC
- Dedicated wire to run back-lighting without primary LED’s
- IP68 Compliant
- High-impact polycarbonate lens
- GORE pressure equalizing vent
One thing that may surprise people is that these light bars start at $179. It is a great value all the way around. This gives people an option to get the quality that Rigid is known for at an affordable price.
What color will you choose? The light bar is only available in a straight version for the time being.
