You know what they say about more doors, right? Yeah, neither do we. You could make jokes about this big, lengthy, elongated eight-door Ford Super Duty truck for days, but let’s all try to be mature adults and get on with it. Eight doors make it dreadful to park and painful to turn—let’s leave it at that. But apparently it doesn’t inhibit donuts.
About a month ago, a YouTuber with half a million subscribers named Gabe (Gabe Farrell Productions) bought this handsome new-to-him slammed eight-door Ford Super Duty. As we all know, Ford doesn’t make an octa-doored truck; it’s as unnatural as it sounds. Ford makes a Regular cab (yes, long live the single cab), Super Cab (clamshell-style extended cab), and Crew Cab (traditional four-door). Ram makes an even-longer Mega Cab, but no manufacturer makes anything like this.
This Massive Ford Truck Is Indeed Real
It’s hard to believe, but this eight-door is not AI-generated; it’s real. It’s not newly built, either, so if you feel like you’ve seen this truck before, you probably have. The original build spanned nearly a decade from 2007 until 2017. Like Gabe, you may remember seeing it sometime back in 2017 and may recall the infamous video of it doing donuts.
We won’t go too deep into the details, but it’s actually four Super Duty trucks put together: 1999, 2006, 2013, and a 2015. The chassis and suspension are from the 1999. Obviously, the frame was stretched to accommodate the extra length. The drivetrain is from the 2006, meaning there’s a 6.0-liter under the hood, mated to a 5R110. The six-liter has been bulletproofed and runs a tune. The cab and bed are from the 2013 and 2015 (although the gauge cluster is from the 2006 and still works). The F-450 front clip swap looks seamless.
Limousine-Like Interior
With four rows of full platinum leather interior seating, a suede 2,000-piece starlight headliner resembling twinkling stars against a black night, and two sunroofs, this extra-fullsize packs quite the party interior. The second and third rows feature captain’s chairs, while the fourth row in the way back is a bench seat. That means it seats nine, with room for junk in the bed.
The whole thing is slammed and rides on 28-inch wheels. Gabe said the air ride suspension is a little outdated (as it was probably done with the original build), but otherwise gets the job done just fine. Outside speakers add to the ostentatious vibes.
Gabe named it Blue Chew and has big plans in store. Stay tuned as Gabe and crew enjoy this new toy before sending it under the knife for a revamp. Word on the street is that he wants to scrap the air ride and give it a giant lift. We’re huge fans of the air ride, but we’re not opposed to seeing how crazy the undercarriage could look if he takes the elevated route.
Any ten-door trucks out there? Let us know.
