Got snow and a diesel? You should be out drifting like young buck Dan Granger, seen here hooning around his native Alberta hometown of Fort MacMurray. We dug around the interwebz to save you the trouble, and here’s what we found out about this black Chevy “deezy.”
Granger is a teenager who graduated high school last June. Sure, a lot of teenagers graduated in June 2013, you say; but only one of them has the privilege of getting to drive around this particular 2003 Chevy 2500HD.
Granger first started documenting his progress on the Silverado back in September of 2012. Little by little, the mods started getting added to the truck, and in time, Granger had himself a badass rig that caught the eyes of everyone who saw it driving around town.
The modifications Granger had done were fairly extensive, but well worth the effort, as you can see from the video. His drivetrain is a solid stock configuration, boosted thanks to an EFI Live tune courtesy of “Idaho Rob” Coddens and an S&B intake.
The suspension received a great deal of effort and attention with a new set of Cognito Motorsports upper control arms and steering braces, Longhorn Fab Shop traction bars, Fox Racing shocks, and Fabtech heavy duty tie rods. If anything, it’s likely gone a way toward making the snow drifting adventures more fun to do.
The wheels are 20×10 Fuel Offroad Kranks with a -24mm offset, wrapped in grippy, tough 35-inch Toyo M/Ts. This modification required a lot of trimming to the fenders, which Granger joked about with this post he made to his Instagram:

Inside, the cab received some cool upgrades to its electronics. These included a Kenwood Double Din touchscreen infotainment system, as well as a set of speakers mounted under the back seat inside a 12-inch ported Bassworx box for dropping mad beats.
Although it’s already a sweet diesel in its current state, Granger is eager to improve his truck even more. Topping the priority list is his stock transmission, which should soon be headed to the junkyard after it started giving him problems. Be sure to follow Granger as he continues his adventures in his 2500 by checking out his Instagram.
