One of the really cool things about this job is being able to talk to a wide range of manufacturers. Every once in a while, you find someone that just gets “IT” and they bring to market something that is above and beyond. When it comes to this year’s SEMA Show, that company was American Force for us here in the diesel market. The wheel has been around for thousands of years, yet companies continue to think of new and innovative ways of making new wheels with more designs and innovative technology year after year. American Force this year introduced four new lines of wheels that are just too cool not to share.

Wheel 1:

Have a split personality or fear of commitment? Then the Faceplate Series is just what you’ve been looking for. These wheels have removable inserts that transform the wheel in minutes. So, if you want something aggressive in the morning and subtle during the afternoon and then something wicked in the evening, no problem!

Nick Chin, Marketing Director of American Force shared, “These wheels are the ultimate customizable wheel. We have elevated the level of customizability to a level that has never really been achieved before.”

There are 5 styles in the Faceplate Series; Evade, Fallout, Master, Vector and Nightmare. Each of these have a unique look, and there are three inserts for each style. Each insert is slightly smaller than the next, adding some depth to each wheel. Upon first impression, people think the wheels have been pinstriped, when in fact, they are the inserts. All inserts are made out of 6061 aluminum and the wheels themselves come either black or polished.

Wheel 2:

Locked and loaded, there is a new wheel called Never Run Away (NRA) that is part of the Special Forces series of wheels. These start with a forged aluminum wheel that is then machined to reveal eight revolvers within the spokes. These truly make a “Don’t Mess With Me” statement. “We posted a photo on our Facebook to get a feel for the market with these and got almost 3,000 likes in 2 days,” said Chin. That is a good indication these are wheels are going to be HOT!

Wheel 3:

Perfect for the “Lets Take This Outside” guy, American Force is introducing their Knucles wheel. These wheels are also part of the Special Forces series, but these are all about hand to hand combat. In between each spoke is a set of knuckles that will put the hurt on anyone.

Wheel 4:

Finally, American Force is offering many of their popular wheels as 17 and 18-inch sizes. No longer do you have to upgrade both your wheels and tires. This means keeping the factory ride quality, but getting some of the coolest styling in the market.

American Force is offering some of their wheels in new finishes as well. They are doing a doing a tint in yellow, purple, red and blue. Depending on if the base wheel was polished or black, will depend on how deep the colors are, but they are certainly something that will stand out.
